Beth Warren, MS, RD, CDN
Beth Warren MS, RD, CDN is the author of LIVING A REAL LIFE WITH REAL FOOD: HOW TO GET HEALTHY, LOSE WEIGHT AND STAY ENERGIZED - THE KOSHER WAY (SKYHORSE 2014). Beth is a Registered Dietitian and a New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist with a private practice in Brooklyn, New York. She holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Yeshiva University. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (previously known as the American Dietetic Association), Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM) and Nutrition Entrepreneurs (NE) practice groups, New York State Dietetic Association (NYSDA) and the Society of Nutrition Education (SNE).
Julie Kassin MS, RD is a Master’s level Registered Dietitian. She graduated CUNY Hunter College in 2012 from an accelerated program receiving a dual Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Sciences. Her Dietetic Internship was completed under Brooklyn College primarily in Maimonides Medical Center where she developed clinical and education skills to treat patients with comprehensive nutrition care. She is a member of the Academy for Nutrition and Dietetics, Greater New York Dietetic Association (GNYDA), Golden Key International Honour Society, and the Hunter Nutrition Club. Julie received certification in ServSafe, New York Food Protection Certification, CITI Program Research and NIH Research. She volunteered as a research assistant at Hunter College to promote nutrition awareness among East Harlem youth. She also assisted in research for Neonatal Nutrition in Maimonides Medical Center and worked in a private practice in Redbank, NJ specializing in eating disorders.
Julie has a multi-faceted experience in inpatient and outpatient facilities and a concentrated focus on nutrition counseling and education. She received specific training in many disciplines of nutrition including pediatrics, gastrointestinal disorders, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, bariatrics, renal disease, and oncology among others. In addition to English, Julie is able to counsel and educate individuals in Spanish.
Julie strongly believes that each individual is unique and designs programs to offer the greatest opportunity for ongoing success. She accomplishes this with a client-centered approach by empowering adults and children to make changes towards a healthy lifestyle. When she’s not working, Julie volunteers for Sephardic Bikur Holim and at a Manhattan soup kitchen.She also enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor exercise and yoga.
Annie Dweck, Office Manager
Annie Dweck is the office manager at Beth Warren Nutrition. She is currently attending Brooklyn College where she is pursuing her Bachelors Degree. Prior to working for Beth, Annie was employed by pediatrician, Dr Edward Gindi. Annie's responsibilities include administrative tasks, scheduling appointments, greeting clients and planning coordinating events with Beth.
In her spare time, Annie has recently partnered with Sephardic Bikur Holim to create a Bridal Foundation to help supply newly married couples with items they need for their new home. She also enjoys healthy cooking, movies, and spending time with family and friends.
