Avocado is one of the hottest fruits/vegetables in the market today. Not only is it a good plant food, but it can also help nourish the scalp and help with thicker healthier hair. Avocado can also be great for the skin containing lots of vitamins A and E. They are also full of skin damaging free radicals. The oils of avocado are very closely matched to the natural oils in your skin, so it will nourish and help protect your skin from the various rigors of the day.  Avocado will help even out your skin tone and calm skin irritation. Try this quick DIY recipe at home for a quick skin glow up!


Classic Recipe:

½ ripe avocado

2 tbs. hot water

1 tsp. honey


Mash the avocado with a fork. Dissolve the honey into the hot water and then mix it in with the avocado. You can apply the mixture with your hands or a brush. Keep it on for 10 minutes and then rinse of with lukewarm water.


What to do with the leftover part of the avocado?! Mash it and put it on toast for breakfast or put it in a smoothie!
