Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts

Thanksgiving is a holiday I LOVE,
mostly because of the FOOD!
I couldn't wait to do a "no-fuss" Thanksgiving,
buying a few main ingredients 
and then whipping up recipes based off other ingredients I had stocked.
Here's a Brussels Sprouts recipe that was amazing!
You can use frozen (checked, kosher) or fresh!

Balsamic Glazed Brussels Sprouts

A delicious Brussels sprouts recipe

Ingredients

1 lb Brussels Sprouts, sliced in half (fresh, or frozen)
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup maple syrup
salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

In a pot, heat the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup until  it thickens, using a wooden spoon occasionally to scrape the bottom and stir, careful not to burn (this takes time). Stir in the Brussels sprouts. Cover leaving the lid partially covering (to steam) and soften the Brussels sprouts on a low to medium flame. Once softened, place in bowl and stir in the almonds and cranberries to serve.
