High Protein Energy "Peanut Chew" Bites

Feeling hungry even after you already ate breakfast? This can be the cause of not eating enough protein to start your day. Protein not only helps you build muscle but it also keeps you feeling full longer and burning more fat and calories. The digestion of protein produces peptideds, these peptides can block appetite hormones and keep you from getting hungry soon after you have a meal.

We all need that extra energy when we wake up in the morning to get us up and keep us going. This recipe is a great choice to give you that energy to face the day. We are all familiar with that 2pm afternoon slump. This can be a perfect snack to wake you back up and help you refuel to get through your busy day. Two of these energy balls count as a meal and one as a snack, on the Beth Warren plan. These scrumptious bites are both filling and nutritious. 

High Protein Energy "Peanut Chew" Bites

Ingredients

2 scoops grass-fed whey protein powder (I used Terra Whey)

1/2 cup natural peanut butter (I used Justin's)

1 cup dates

1 cup raw oats

1 tsp pure vanilla extract 

Instructions

Blend together in food processor or high energy blender

(Drizzle in water if absolutely needed very slowly)
