Peppermint Hot Chocolate

Spiked Hot Cocoa



2.5 ounces 72% dark chocolate, broken into small pieces 

2 cups coconut almond milk (I used Califia Farms) or choice of milk

1 packet (1 tsp) stevia in the raw

A pinch of sea salt

1/4 cup peppermint schnapps




Heat milk in medium saucepan on a low flame. Add in the chocolate and continuously whisk until chocolate is completely melted. Add the salt, stevia and schnapps and continuously stir to combine completely. Heat about 4 minutes or until desired hot temperature. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon or shaved dark chocolate on top as a garnish
