Tasty French Green Beans

by Beth Warren May 13, 2022

It's always a PLUS when the entire family loves any recipe, especially a vegetable one!

Here's my family pleasing way to make string beans.

Another great part is that it's so quick to prepare and comes out arguable better with frozen as well.

So, you don't need to buy it in advance nor sit there cutting the stems. The best ones to get are French, whole green beans. Trader joes and Costco have GREAT ones!

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, or avocado oil
1 lb French green beans, whole (fresh or frozen)

Soy Sauce OR Coconut Aminos (any flavor e.g. smokey or plain) OR a good quality Teriyaki Sauce

Saute garlic in oil until translucent and fragrant on medium flame. Lower the heat and add carefully add the green beans and sauce.  Partially cover and cook down until fully softened and sauce completely absorbed into the beans that it becomes brown in color. During the cooking process, continuously use cooking tongs to "stir fry". About 20 minutes.
