You Overdid It, Now What?

by Beth Warren July 24, 2020

Whenever a client frantically emails me,
“I cheated on XX food, I’m freaking out!”
My response is usually something like,
“Mmmm, hope it was a yummy treat.”
(Swipe left!)
Honestly,
what help is it to panic over something that happened and you can’t do anything about,
except move forward?
And guess what?
The major distinguishing factor in how much
“damage” (a lot of y’all your words not mine čśů)
you did,
IS EXACTLY THAT!
HOW. YOU. CHOOSE. TO. MOVE. FORWARD.
Because let’s keep it real:
no one gained weight from one night of indulging.
savor it,
enjoy it,
AND MOVE ON!
Not only because at some point,
you’re going to eat a cookie,
and need to feel good about that,
but because moving forward IS the part the matters,
not the damn cookie.
I enjoyed this invention of SMORES COOKIES
made by my 11 year old,
(Just your average fave chocolate chip cookie recipe on top of a piece of graham cracker, dark chocolate and marshmallow)
